چکیده

Common dispersive-type spectroscopic instruments include prism-type and grating-type, usually using a single dispersive element. The continuous imaging band is always limited by the dispersion angle. When it necessary to image two wavebands with an ultra-spectral resolution that are far apart, difficult due large diffraction To broaden spectral coverage of spectrometer, in this paper, we propose dual-gratings spectrometer independently rotating gratings. In proposed system, very apart wavelength bands can be imaged adjacent areas adjusting angle dual This greatly expands spectrometer. Currently, only application area considered for instrument solar applications. article, present optical system illustrate several advantages new structure, discuss problems caused dual-gratings, which referred as overlap between spectra double offset. We deduced calculation process grating rotation angle, relationship final acquired slit, change gratings offset, MTF upper limit reduction spatial frequency. article also summarizes shortcomings structure studies applicable fields under these shortcomings. At last, simulate compare scheme traditional schemes, conclude has certain practical significance.

Non-scanning dual infrared band hyperspectral imaging spectrometer design

Recent advances in dual band infrared focal plane technology now enable the design and testing of a dual infrared band snapshot imaging spectrometer, the first-ever of its kind. A review of proof of concept results from a dual-visible-band Computed Tomographic Imaging Spectrometer (CTIS) system is presented. The dual-visible system demonstrates that it is possible to reconstruct two spatially c...

Improved monochromatic imaging spectrometer.

Distortion inherent to a previously described system for acquisition of two-dimensional monochromatic spatial images is described. A solution is offered in the form of an improved instrument. The system uses a Czerny-Turner monochromator for spectral discrimination and a charge-coupled device (CCD) as the detector. A second Czerny-Turner monochromator, with identical dimensions, is added to cor...

Arrayed, Piezoelectrically-Actuated Mirrors and Gratings for Spectrometer

This paper describes a technology for a compact spectrometer based on a 2D piezoelectric mirror and/or grating array. The piezoelectric mirror/grating array is composed of angularly movable, 2-D array of micromirrors/microgratings that is supported on piezoelectric cantilevers, and can be driven piezoelectrically with controllable tilt angle in both upward and downward directions. A large refle...

The LINUS UV Imaging Spectrometer}

We present an overview of the Naval Postgraduate School's new LINUS instrument. This is a spectral imager designed to observe atmospheric gas plumes by means of absorption spectroscopy, using background Rayleighscattered daylight as an illumination source. It is a pushbroom instrument, incorporating a UV-intensified digital camera, interchangeable gratings and filters, and a DC servo-controlled...
